Beach Energy Limited (ASX: BPT) is an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Adelaide, Australia. It is a component of the S&P/ASX 200 index of major Australian companies.

Beach was established in 1961[1], however for many years it was not very successful. After eventually making some discoveries in the Cooper Basin, Beach now holds interests in production joint ventures in the Cooper/Eromanga Basin, the Basker-Manta-Gummy Joint Venture (offshore Gippsland Basin) and the Tipton West Joint Venture in the Surat Basin.
