Flexible pipes with a VESTAMID® NRG 1001 pressure sheet offer a potential 6°C increase in the operating temperature as compared to conventional polyamide materials used. VESTAMID® NRG is also the material of choice as liner material, matrix material or jacket material in Thermoplastic Composite Pipes and Risers.

Applied in layers, its sealing and corrosion protection properties help improve the safety of offshore oil production.

Description: For liner applications, the tailored VESTAMID® NRG 3001 is the first and only nylon material applicable for close fit design.
Details:
Polyamide 12 liner opens the door for liner in subsea production lines and extends the benefits of PE liner in onshore production fields. With Polyamide 12 former limitations of the application can be pushed and e.g. lined subsea prodction pipelines are becoming a valuable alternative to corrosion resistant alloys (CRA) showing potential cost savings of more then 30 % in an offshore pipeline project.

VESTAKEEP® PEEK enables downhole liner application above 120 °C operation conditions. VESTAKEEP® differentiats from other PEEK materials by 15 % higher impact resistance and 50 % higher tensile modulus at 150 °C.

Made from a unique, high molecular weight (PEEK) resin, offers better ductility, toughness, impact, and fatigue resistance to dramatically improve the performance of labyrinth seals, compressor valves, umbilicals, liners, sealing rings, wire insulation, and connectors.
