Drilling operations will be supported by facilities on the tender barge, including storage for drilling supplies, drill pipes, casings, power generation facilities for runniing the drilling equipment and well completion equipment. After drilling operation, drilling modular can be removed from the fixed platform. The superioty of tender drilling barge credit its flexibility and repeatability, as a consequence it is economic cost-wise, so it is widely used in offshore oilfield develpment. From RIGZONE, the average utilization is about 90% during the last year and is on the increase. The average day rate is US$131,000.

With one of these 4 drydocks measuring 580 meters (1,900 feet) long and 139.5 meters across, is considered to be one of the world’s largest drydocks.
