Specialist Treasury (E&P): Location Kuwait

Client Company: International Oil & Gas Company with Global E&P Assets

Summary of Role:

To monitor Company funds in the most efficient manner, producing and reporting on Company cash flow projections.

 

Responsible for the Company's Treasury Operations and provides advice on International Financing issues. To ensure that the strategic alternatives and marketing are reflected in cash flow projections. Responsible for the company's treasury operations and provides advice on international financing issues related to acquisitions, new ventures and divestiture Review Treasury operations to ensure that they are carried out efficiently and in compliance with Company's procedures; Advise on cash movements and supervise the setup of IT to enabled cash flow systems for the company Participate in all negotiations with Financial Institutions for finalising Company's funding requirements are met / completed in co-ordination with Commercial Manager Supervise commercial reviews for all new ventures and recommend changes and amendments to operator proposed agreement to protect company's interests after obtaining inputs from legal; Make recommendations on optimal marketing arrangements / agreements and financing alternatives; Mentoring / Training of National staff; Assist with other accountancy assignments which may occur from time to time.  

Required Qualifications and Experience

 

University Degree (BA, BSc, M.A, MSc) Professional Accountancy Qualifications Treasury Accountant 15 years Treasury experience , minimum 6 years at Senior Level in Oil & Gas Treasury Risk Management Treasury Operations Substantial experience in the Oil and Gas Treasury function; Experience of working in Crude Oil Trading and Transportation Department would be advantageous. International project experience (desirable).
