Proposals Leader

Our client provide a full range EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation) services and operate in the SURF (Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers, Flowlines) sector. Working in a well established team, the Proposal Lead will report to the Business Acquisition Manager and will lead and organize the commercial delivery of tenders. Key Responsibilities:Implement and adhere to procedures necessary for maintaining the necessary quality and standards of tenders.Ensure that engineers are fully aware of their responsibility in the tendering process.Contribute in contractual and commercial discussions and decisions in tenders.Implement and adhere to procedures necessary for maintaining the necessary quality and standards of work.Implement and maintain the experience transfer processes between projects and tenders.Coordinate the performance of 'technical reviews', cost reviews and bid reviews with respect to on-going tenders.Ensure that the tenders are of suitable standard with regards to commercial content and technical solutions selected.Streamline and improve quality and efficiency in the tendering department and the contributing personnel.Detect and analyse critical items for a successful bid.Contribute with input and assist the Operations department prior to the tender being awarded.Contribute to subcontractor/ supplier selection processEstimating as requiredSupporting Tender Estimator as requiredCreate and ensure contact with key personnel in Client organisations, and collect information on future prospects.Keep efficient correspondence with clients on tender clarifications.Ensure that bids are compliant, accurate and have client requirements.Assist Business Development Manager in creation and submission of pre-qualification documents.Responsible for setting up preliminaries for performing bids.The ideal candidate for this role will be educated to degree level in QS, Engineering, Marketing, Law & Management or similar, have appropriate experience in the SURF sector and a strong background in developing estimates for EPCI Projects.This is a permanent, staff position and the successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent salary package and benefits.To apply, please send your CV for immediate review.
