This position will be working as part of a multi-discipline team. The successful candidate should be a highly articulate and effective communicator with excellent team building & interpersonal skills. Prepared to assist with a variety of tasks to a level consistent with knowledge and training.Key Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing the Safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all PLC, DCS, ESD, Fire and Gas and HIPPS safety systems and associated instrumentation marshalling and systems cabinets. Primary duties shall include preventative and corrective maintenance routines, documentation update and reporting, log keeping, first line maintenance, minor software design and modification, equipment replacement, and inspection. Also first line fault finding on control system based equipment ranging from discrete packages with differing PLC control arrangements to complex control arrangements built into the DCS, as well as Fire and Gas, HIPPS and ESD Logic, etc. Key resource to establishing control system reliability/availability trends including the identification of worst actor equipment, key resource in advising revised maintenance strategies or equipment upgrades required to manage field life issues. Key member of the maintenance team providing assistance to the Maintenance and Intervention Team Lead and platform Leadership Team in order to meet team goals and objectives as defined in the Business Plan. Ensure all modifications, are dealt with using the management of change process, whilst specifically ensuring compliance for all changes to software on the installation ensuring adherence to the software modification process. First Line Diagnostic and Remedial Work/Operations in the event of Plant upsets in Equipment using relevant P&ID’s, Loop Diagrams, Vendor Manuals and other Data to assist with corrective action. Regularly makes use of Production, Operating and Start-up Manuals (POSM) for relevant systems. Reviews content, ensures accuracy, highlights discrepancies and ensures Management of Change (MOC) procedures are followed where changes are required. Maintains accurate and comprehensive records including, but not limited to: event logs, maintenance records (SAP), and override/inhibit logs. Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental requirements. Cross training and assisting Operations in equipment/plant/system start up, maintenance, monitoring and shutdown/start up. Interface with Chevron Facilities Engineering Team for minor modification and project scopes of work, ensuring that site documentation is as built in line with Chevron MOC requirements Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Recognised qualification in Instrumentation, Electronic, Computer or Electrical Engineering at HND or Degree level is preferable. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership behaviours with the ability to coach and mentor maintenance and operations personnel. Extensive distributed control systems and related instrumentation operations and maintenance competency, preferably gained in an offshore or petrochemical environment. Demonstrated ability to provide and advise on technical evaluations of brownfield and greenfield projects. Must have the ability to understand and compile Technical Reports with associated Drawings as required, pertaining to Electronic, Electrical and Instrumentation systems or operations. Proactive approach to HE&S initiatives.  Promotes a high level of awareness in self and others. Demonstrated ability in the use of SAP CMMS to ensure required work activities are captured in the development of equipment maintenance plans. Ability to develop short and long term maintenance plans. Demonstrate good teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a close, multi-discipline environment. Maintain positive and tactful relationships with others.  Demonstrate proactive, flexible and positive attitude. Share knowledge freely with others to ensure best practices.
