Chevron's Americas Products, Transportation & Operation (T&O) organization is responsible for petroleum product receipt and storage in 7 countries and nearly 40 storage terminals and distribution of these products to customers via truck, rail and pipeline. The Engineering Supervisor -East &CCA is open through July 6th, 2017.Overview: Chevron's Americas Products, Transportation & Operation (T&O) organization is responsible for petroleum product receipt and storage in 7 countries and nearly 40 storage terminals and distribution of these products to customers via truck, rail and pipeline. The T&O function provides a key link in the product supply chain between the manufacturing facilities, transportation service providers and the customers. This position will include travel (25%) to the United States East, Colombia and Central America (CCA). This is a safety sensitive position. This position supervises Americas Products T&O East & CCA facility engineering group. The group consists of 7 facility engineers. The facility engineers are responsible for the annual execution of capital and expense projects in Chevron's proprietary US East and CCA Terminals. Typical project sizes are in the $100 thousand to $12 million range.Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Provide leadership to a group of 7 facility engineers responsible for the execution of $10MM-$40MM in capital and expense projects. Develop and manage team operating expense budget to deliver on plan. Champion the application of Chevron Project Development & Execution Process - CPDEP and drive the behaviors necessary to ensure high level of decision quality and top quartile project cost, schedule and safety performance. Provide leadership and establish expectations for implementation of all necessary project controls and project management tools, to meet project/business objectives. Provide input to short and long term strategies, budgets, key objectives, safety metrics, and plans for organization as member of the Regional Engineering Leadership Team. Provide facility engineering team with operational, construction, technical, safety and compliance guidance as related to planning and execution of projects. Provide engineering support for regional business opportunity evaluations and liaison with Americas Products key critical stakeholders (VCO, PSAT, etc.) to align project deliverables with strategic drivers and compliance with TC&S.• Provide input to short and long term strategies, budgets, key objectives, safety metrics, and plans for organization as member of the Regional Engineering Leadership Team.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Minimum of 10 years in Facilities Engineering/Project Engineering/Project Management role. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. 2 years of first line supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge of successful project management practices - CSOC (Capital Stewardship Organizational Capability) Regular Certification if CVX employee Proven ability to work with a multicultural team and foster a strong team environment with minimal supervision. Proven knowledge of petroleum storage and handling facilities or related industrial facilities and integration of project work in these facilities Proven to be a strong safety champion who will support achieving "0" incidents and injuries.Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated Spanish proficiency (spoken/written) Demonstrated basic understanding of Product Integrity related hardware (i.e. floating suctions, tank coatings, fast flush system, etc.) Project Management training. Proven familiarity with gated decision making processes (CPDEP) is preferred along with CSOC Supreme Certification. Demonstrated knowledge of engineering codes and standards. Demonstrated basic understanding of Product Integrity related hardware (i.e. floating suctions, tank coatings, fast flush system, etc.)
