Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Equipment Decision Support Centre (EDSC) Engineer to join the Reliability and Integrity team. This two-year maximum term role will be based in Perth and will report to the Facility Engineering Lead - EDSC and Condition Monitoring Engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

Perform diagnostic analysis of machinery performance and health utilising real-time monitoring and analytical tools Assist in implementation and execution of the machinery and electrical condition monitoring strategy Identify and recommend actions on potential impending failures to help facilitate a shift from time-based to condition based maintenance practices Compile technical reports Participate in root cause analysis activities Responsible for data completeness, optimisation and accuracy in various predictive maintenance toolsets including but are not limited to, GE SmartSignal, GE System1 and Thermodynamic Performance modelling applications Communicate with site and a variety of stakeholders across several teams and departments Commitment to health, environment and safety and Chevron best practices  

Key skills and experience required:

Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred Demonstrated experience in condition monitoring, thermodynamic performance and predictive maintenance toolsets Demonstrated experience in providing technical engineering advice on gas turbines, compressors and pumps in an operating environment Demonstrated experience in data collection, analysis and reporting in an oil and gas, refinery or related industry Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders Collaboration and team work skills Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results  Demonstrated commitment to Chevron’s values of integrity, partnership and trust and achieving an incident and injury free environment
