Field Technician (Pumping Units) - Odessa, TX

JOB SCOPE:        

Supervised assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of BEAM pumping units. Provide field/shop support as required. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under supervision, assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of Beam Pumping Units as assigned

Learn to identify the components of Beam Pumping Units

Executes LOTO Energy Isolation

Participate in JSA processes

Participate in safely executing relevant SOPs

Work towards achieving Level 1 Pumping Unit Services competency? 

QUALIFICATIONS

 SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:        

Able to demonstrate field/shop competency

Mechanical ability necessary to perform tasks

Valid driver's license (where applicable)

Good oral and written communication skills

Self-motivated, self starter

Must be able to follow instructions

Able to work closely with fellow employees

Mechanical ability necessary to perform job responsibilities

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

Pumping Unit - 'Pump Jack' experience

1-3 years related field experience
