Voyage Manager (LNG) - London, UK - Permanent - £55,000 - £65,000A reputable Ship Management company based in London is currently recruiting for a Voyage Manager to join their team.Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following;- Monitoring vessel's movement and performance and onboard navigational practices.- Arranging and responding to OCIMF SIRE and flag inspections.- Conducting risk assessments and accident incident investigations.- Reviewing and responding to vessel discharge and loading plans.- Monitoring all voyages to ensure balance of safety, economics and customer satisfaction. - Attending industry forums and seminars as requested.- Understanding of cargo containment system, cargo handling equipment and systems on board vessels managed. - Attending vessels worldwide to supervise operations and monitor vessel condition and compliance with management policies and state regulations.To be selected for the role, candidates will have sailed as a Senior Deck Officer on LNG Carriers. You must also have a deep understanding of technical operations and propulsion plant onboard the vessels managed.Previous shore-based experience is desired but not essential.
