Duties & Responsibilities  

Purpose  

The position holder will be responsible for the development and capability of all manufacturing processes.

They will develop, deliver& manage effective and capable processes and ensuring the operational risk is established and reduced in support of operations

Functions

ESSENTIAL

Develop and implement effective systems to ensure all processes are maintained and demonstrate improving capability and reliability in operation. Develop and implement a full operational risk management system. Manage and cost control the departmental budget. Develop a clear roadmap on improving reliability through targeted upgrades and continuous improvement of processes. Drive full root cause analysis of process and equipment faults and implement robust corrective actions that eliminate reoccurrence Develop and mentor Process Engineers to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities required by their role. Ensure all equipment is in a safe condition to operate and complies to all necessary legislation. Liaise with sister plants to standardize processes and sharing of best practices both within and without Oceaneering. Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Manufacturing and Quality to drive positive improvement in performance. Utilize a clearly defined stage gate process to support Capex projects and ensure efficient factory layout is achieved. Drive and support HSE improvement plans on all processes, including use of risk assessments and JSEAs for all appropriate tasks. Management (including HSE requirements) of external contractors.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level with significant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in maintenance and facilities.
