Tax Accountant

Overview: Aegion Corporation is looking for a Tax Accountant. Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions, inventory of deferreds, and tax accountant reconciliations Prepare federal and state income tax returns and computations Prepare responses to request for information from outside taxing authorities Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly tax accruals for all entities Assist the Tax Manager with various research projects

Qualifications:

BS/BA with concentration in Accounting CPA or Masters of Tax preferred 2+ years of experience in tax department of a public accounting firm and/or industry Experience with accounting for income taxes under ASC 740 Ability to perform research and analysis to tax policies and procedures Familiarity with tax research products, e.g. RIA, CCH or BNA General ledger application experience preferred Experience using JD Edwards and OneSource preferred Good overall accounting knowledge Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Effective in coordinating activities with other areas to assure operational efficiency and productivity Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Proven problem solving and decision-making skills Our company offers a competitive salary with career growth opportunities and a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K matching, tuition assistance, paid time off, and much more.
