Mechanical Superintendent

Amec Foster Wheeler is recruiting for a Mechanical Superintendent to join us on a6 month contract at a Petrochem site in Newport, South Wales. Communicate the construction requirements to all contractors' and Amec Foster Wheeler staff, and coordinate the work of the contractors ensuring compliance and conformance with the safety plan, quality plan and FWUK OU and Client requirementsEnsure that all personnel on site are instructed and motivated with respect to health, safety and environmental requirements and comply with the site regulations and permit to work proceduresEnsure all construction contractors' supervision and labour, adhere strictly to the project drawings, specifications, standards and proceduresManagement and guidance of supervision to ensure site productivity and efficiency result in meeting contract targetsEnsure that the Amec Foster Wheeler Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE) and Quality Policies are implemented and understood by all supervised staff and project contractorsIn conjunction with Commissioning Manager ensure pre-commissioning requirements are undertaken in accordance with project specifications and procedures, and coordinated with ongoing construction activitiesSupport, promote, and champion the Amec Foster Wheeler core values throughout the Construction Execution phaseSkills / QualificationsPrevious expeirence in a similar role working on a Petrochemical / Refinery site
