Key DutiesOversee energy projects simultaneously from inception through to delivery, on time and to specificationPromote safe working practices for field based staffConfirmation and implementation of pre-PAC, IAC, FAC Audits and punch listsIn depth technical assessments of plantsProvide excellent technical and practical knowledge of operations and maintenance teamPoint of contact for engineersIn depth, technical analysis of plantsOversee project design and developmentDeliver quality control and inspection throughout the O&M businessAppoint 3rd party contractorsEstablish specialist renewable energy installationsRecommendations for plant improvementsWork alongside the Operations Manager & SAP on all areas of the O&M businessDevelop a team of industry technical experts Required Skills and experienceProven track record in delivering energy projects on time, on budget and to specificationExcellent technical and practical knowledge of technical and engineering methods within the renewables sectorExtensive knowledge of major inverter manufacturers (ABB, SMA, Huawei, Power one, Schneider)Minimum of 10 year's experience in a senior position within the energy sectorMinimum HV AP15 qualificationGood practical knowledge of other energy sectorsAbility to problem solveAdvising the O&M team on cost effective and practical solutions to all matters related to the operations and maintenance of the UK solar assets and ongoing energy projectsExcellent communication skillsImplement monthly preventative maintenance DC components and AC electrical infrastructureHold a valid UK drivers licence and be prepared to travel to site locations throughout the UKAbility to work with people of various disciplines and levels within the organisation Matchtech acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.
