Be a part of a team that developing the next generation of Automation and Robotics tool. The Automation Systems Analyst II develops, implements and supports Application, Hardware, and OS Imaging to meet the Controls and Automation business, and technical needs

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

Creates and Maintains Linux, Windows Images using tools such as Ghost, ImageX, etc. Creates and maintains Automation software packages installed in images. Create virtualization of developed images in an industrial setting. Interfaces with the Automation and Robotics engineer to clarify requirements Keep up with the Automation system software updates and security requirements. Diagnoses and solves common system problems while working under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines in an environment with limited resources Assists on projects involving complex interfaces and interdependencies between systems and also integrating multiple solutions Participates in systems design Prepares documentation of all procedures for image creation and support documents  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Must have at least 5 years of experience creating and maintaining Ghost images or other imaging tools. Must have at least 3 years of server experience working with ESX. At least three years of hands-on technical experience with the following systems: Strong Batch, PowerShell or scripting skills Vsphere / Hyperv experience Imaging - Solid Windows 7 experience Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 Windows domain controller configuration Database configuration (MySQL, MS SQL) Working knowledge of some flavor of Linux

Microsoft patching for desktops and servers Possesses strong knowledge in one or two programming languages, tools and/or technology environments, with the ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly Demonstrates an understanding of application development methods, the Project Execution Process, as well as the fundamentals of requirement specification, design, development/configuration, and testing of business applications systems Operational experience of application packaging and deployment Experience in large scale enterprise software deployments  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years' of hands-on technical experience in a current application platform. Knowledge of Rockwell Automation software platform More than three year of functional experience. Has a strong working understanding of installed systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve many problems on the existing system(s) supported and is aware of integration points with other systems and how that interacts with their work.
