Amec Foster Wheeler has an opportunity available for a Lead Mechanical Quality Inspector in St. James Parrish, LA

Key Responsibilities

Perform Construction Quality Assurance activities in a technical capacity Be Proactive in providing assistance to Construction Personnel and Subcontractors Participate in Pre-Inspection Meetings, with Construction Supervision and Subcontractors QC to discuss Project requirements and explain the Quality Inspection Forms and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) Requirements Direct functional responsibilities of subordinate Quality Control Inspectors and other inspection personnel as assigned Maintain technical and other pertinent documents, as directed Assist in Implementing Quality Control Procedures and on-site inspection activities Monitor Construction and Subcontractor and Supplier workmanship, installation of material and equipment for Quality Control compliance Monitor inspection functions in accordance with Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) Inspect and document acceptance of construction activities and installations Audit Subcontractors QA/QC program and procedures for compliance with project requirements Review and assist in maintaining documentation of inspection activities and maintain Quality Control Records for System Turn Over Coordinate inspection activities between Client and Subcontractor QC Inspection personnel Perform surveillance and inspection activities as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Review all Subcontractors Inspection Reports for consistency and accuracy Prepare and issue weekly inspection reports as required Communicate with Construction personnel, Subcontractor QC, Engineering, Clients, etc. regarding inspection related QA/QC activities Skills / Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Engineering not mandatory, but a plus in consideration Minimum of 10 years experience related to Mechanical Construction work Diversity Statement
