We are currently sourcing a Planner Scheduler to join our team in Pecos,TX. The successful candidate will be required to undertake the Operations team by creating, sourcing, and managing the combined schedules of all operational groups. The position will interface with multiple teams of the Business Unit, including Operations, Engineering, Midstream, Construction, Workovers, IT, Automation, Maintenance, and other departments.   

This position will report directly to manager.

 

  • At this time, we will only consider applications from US citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.
  • Successful candidate must have residency within a 75 mile radius of Kermit, Texas.

 Detailed Description A minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience (Oil and Gas Operations is preferred) Software experience: Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Primavera, Spotfire, and other scheduling management/analysis applications preferred Ability to learn new software applications quickly Self-starter who is highly-motivated, proactive, and diligent; detail-oriented and accurate; with exceptional organizational skills Takes the initiative to create and maintain evergreen operational schedules; uses technology to streamline and enhance scheduling Utilize role to optimize planned downtime and maintenance events across wells, facilities, and different operational groups. Strong organizational and time-management skills with exemplary work ethic; willing to do whatever it takes to not only get the job done, but get the job done right and on time; requires minimal supervision Team player with effective interpersonal skills, having the keen ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization; willing to present schedules to all operational levels regularly Well-developed communication and presentation skills; able to generate daily and weekly operations schedule reports Demonstrates characteristics of Anadarko's five corporate values - Commercial Focus, Open Communication, People and Passion, Integrity and Trust, and Servant LeadershipJob Requirements Contact every operational group and create a daily schedule of all of their operational activates Build a strong report with operational staff and management; promote IOC Communications and Vision Create a daily report with the upcoming and day's events; present the report as part of the daily operations call When needed or as time allows, support IOC Operations with dispatching, alarm management, and production surveillance Actively participate in team meetings and group decisions Be a role model for highest professional and ethical behavior Uphold all company environmental, health and safety policies and principleAdditional Details
