Sr Commercial Development Rep - Rockies Midstream

Job Summary This commercial development position is located in the Denver, Colorado office.  Anadarko is seeking someone who will help manage commercial operations and the midstream services provided by the Rockies commercial team.  QualificationsMinimum 8+ years of relevant experience; preferably in midstream commercial operationsVery strong understanding of the midstream business and what drives itWorking knowledge of midstream facility function, operations, accounting, and product take-way/marketingEconomic modeling and strong analytical skills requiredMust possess excellent leadership, teamwork, negotiating, and written and verbal communication skillsAble to manage multiple high level projects and customer relations involving a variety of assets, challenges and calm under fire problem solvingRequires the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships, both internal and externalMust pay attention to detail and have a keen sense of urgency ResponsibilitiesManagement and optimization of business profitabilityIdentification of business development opportunitiesEvaluation of project economics and project risksDeveloping, communicating and securing management approval of commercial strategies and project opportunitiesSolid understanding of midstream contract terms and conditions, contract development and contract negotiationsHigh aptitude for customer service, salesmanship and negotiationsKeen understanding of customer needs, business drivers and competitionBusiness unit budget planning and developmentIdentifies, develops, realizes, and optimizes midstream commercial opportunitiesTakes ownership, accountability and leadership for the entire midstream team to ensure best in class midstream services to internal and external producersDevelops and nurtures positive and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external producers and third-party midstream service providersEffectively communicates strategies, execution plans, timetables, and statusCoordinates and contributes to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, updates, and business plans for the region and its assetsDiligently negotiates contract terms and conditions with internal and external customersStays abreast of current trends within the industry and midstream operations.
