Assistant Risk Operations & Credit Analyst Job

Ensures that documentation is complete and in compliance with Risk Management policies.Responsibilities

Track and support the maintenance of Xcel Energy's trading portfolios on a daily basis through accurate trade entry into the risk management software. Assist in development of the appropriate trading books and risk and credit reports that record portfolios of Xcel Energy's natural gas and electric trading positions. Assist in producing risk and credit reports including daily trading P/L, open positions, balance of the month, VAR and counterparty credit exposures. Will also assist with developing other reports as required. Assist in the development and maintenance of the risk management computer systems and processes. Monitor and review trading documentation to ensure compliance with risk management and credit policies. Assist with quantitative studies of prices, retail load, and system costs for energy commodities. Required

Degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance or related field Preferred

6 months experience in a commodity trading related environment
